The Colorado PGA sponsored, this week at the Colorado Golf Club. a fund raising tournament for Colorado PGA Reach which focuses on golf in schools, military assistance and diversity and inclusion. It is estimated that they raised over $40,000 to support these programs.
At the Awards Luncheon, Eddie told a story about how having a coin of a unit’s medallion saved an individuals’ life during World War I. Both Eddie and Keith’s fathers served admirably with a career in the military.
They thought “coining” each participant in the event with be noteworthy and it certainly was. Below is the coin they presented us with. What a special moment that will be treasured.
