The headline read, “Are you ready for the Ultimate GOLFTEC Student Experience? Enter Now!”    With such an attractive winner’s package, who could not resist responding to the following offer:

The goal of any marketing program is to create brand awareness, engage the respondent and build customer loyalty.  The promotion GolfTec is offering is simply brilliant for many reasons.

First, they create the illusion that the winner’s package is valuable.  In reality, their out-of-pocket expenses are likely to be less than $2,500.  The lessons they are offering cost nothing – those professionals are already on staff.  The club’s they are offering – irons or driver or wedges, or putter or hybrids, can be purchased by them wholesale.   The flight from Denver is likely to be an economy ticket costing less than $400.  Housing and transportation from the airport are not included.

Second, they offer the reader additional entries in the contest by engaging to participate in all of the social media activities sponsored by GolfTec as shown here:

This single email generated 17,100 entries in the first 48 hours.  Awesome!  There is a lesson here for every golf course owner.
