Golf Datech reports that rounds on a national level were up 5.2% January 2017 compared to January 2016. Public access play was up 4.4% and private course activity was up 7.7%. This two-page report includes national, regional, state and metro results.
The reason? Look at how highest the temperature were above historical averages. For every 1 degree the temperature is above normal, rounds are also up 1 percent as noted by Weather Trends International.
