G2 Crowd just completed a study of the market presence and high performers in this space. The results, presented below, I found surprising:
I use Vertical Response (Deluxe Corporation) and have tested Constant Contact. While the graphical user interface on Constant Contact is far better, Vertical Response’s ability to segment the customer database is far superior. What is frustrating with Vertical Response is that the link to Facebook has been inoperative for several weeks and the total reach counter is inaccurate and doesn’t update correctly. Support response at Vertical Response can be slow. I type this, there servers are down and emails to email@example.com get returned as undeliverable.
