The Performance Center:

The brilliance of Ravenna’s program lies in its ability to provide members with a comprehensive assessment of their current body composition, stress levels, and the mobility, stability, strength, and movement patterns that influence their golf swing.

The sixty‑minute assessment includes:

1) InBody Scan

A quick, non‑invasive test that measures how much of your weight comes from muscle, fat, and water. It generates a score that reflects your current body composition:

Score Range Meaning Typical Profile
80–90+ Excellent High muscle mass, low body fat, athletic
70–79 Good / Above Average Balanced composition; moderate muscle; moderate fat
60–69 Fair Lower muscle or higher fat
Needs Improvement Low muscle and/or high fat

 2) Stress Test

This five‑minute heart‑rhythm assessment provides a simple, whole‑body snapshot of how well you handle stress—physically, mentally, and energetically. It evaluates your nervous system, heart‑rate variability, brainwave activity, and overall functional balance. Think of it as a “check engine light” for one’s stress resilience and biological age.

3) Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Screening

A TPI assessment identifies physical limitations that may affect your golf swing. It evaluates mobility (hips, thoracic spine, shoulders), stability (core, glutes, pelvis), balance, coordination, and movement patterns that may contribute to swing faults. TPI screenings highlight muscle imbalances, joint restrictions, and stability deficits.

The Benefits Are Numerous

Following the assessment, each member receives a custom‑tailored wellness plan and recommended Titleist Performance exercises designed to enhance health, flexibility, and longevity.

Their personalized improvement plan may include:

  • Golf-specific performance training
  • Personalized strength training
  • Mobility and flexibility work
  • Corrective exercises
  • Swing‑coaching adjustments
  • Injury‑prevention strategies

This ensures their swing is built around their body—not forced into a model that doesn’t fit.

The Recovery

What is impressive about Ravenna’s facility is their equal focus on recovery from exercise, and they provide members multiple avenues to relax, including:

  • The BackHug machine is an intelligent therapeutic device that uses precision-controlled robotic arms to release tension and improve spinal mobility. It targets 26 key points along your back, neck, and shoulders to ease stiffness and enhance posture. More than just a massage, it delivers a personalized, hands-free therapy experience that feels incredible and leaves you moving better after every session.
  • Normatic Compression Therapy is designed to improve circulation and support recovery from neuromuscular fatigue. Normatec uses dynamic pneumatic compression-rhythmic, pulsed pressure that moves from the foot upward to enhance circulation, reduce swelling, and accelerate the body’s natural recovery processes.
  • Brain Tap uses multisensory stimuli to shift the brain out of fight-or-flight dominance, supporting neural recovery and improved cognitive clarity. Brain Tap combines audio-guided meditation, binaural beats, and gentle light stimulation to influence brainwave patterns and balance the autonomic nervous system. The goal is to transition the brain from a sympathetic state, characterized by stress, elevated cortisol, and constant activation, into a parasympathetic state where recovery, clarity, and neuroplasticity improve.
