Golf courses pride themselves on building large customer databases. The average course has over 3,500 email addresses. We believe it is the quality of the properly segment database and not the size that matters for several reasons.

It will extract from your Outlook file the email address of every individual that contacted you. In my case, there were over 12,000 emails addresses.
If you click here, Linked-In will export all of your contacts detailed information including email addresses and send to you. What was pleasantly surprising is that I received over 6,000 email addresses from individuals who opted-in to read the various articles we have posted.
But all that glitters is not gold. Bi-annually, I review every newsletter I distribute and DELETE from my database those that have not opened an email within the six months. Why?
