The number of golf industry personnel that were unaware of programs to attract new entrants to the game was shocking. Was also slightly surprised that the USGA took a hit for being a detriment to the growth of the game while that responsibility was perceived to principally rest with the PGA. We received many narrative comments which confirmed many of the long-standing assumptions about the challenges the golf industry faces.
