Presented below is an email I received from Ed Oldham, a recognized and well-respected PGA Golf Professional at the Ranch Country Club in Colorado.

It is a scam.

Was visiting with our financial advisor who advised that the financial scams are becoming very sophisticated.   The Managing Partner’s Assistant at BKD received an email four hours after he left on a business trip to wire money to him.  Completely bogus.

Note that I received in August a comparable email from Steve Mona, Chief Executive Office of World Golf Foundation looking for people to participate in a survey. The fact that they connected Steve and my interest in helping him undertake a survey for the benefit of the industry was amazing.

I clicked on the link from Steve and received this cashier’s check and Secret Surveyor Evaluation form.  To view the check and form click here:
Proceed with caution is the advice.
